Medical massage & Trigger point therapy

A Medical massage treats trigger points in the muscle. Trigger points are hyperirritable spots or knots in the muscle. A highly trained physical therapists locates the trigger points or scar tissue with palpation and release techniques to break them down with proper pressure. Medical massages involve manipulation of the deep layers of tissue in the body, including the fascia and other supportive tissue that make up the muscles and joints.

Myofascial Release Therapy

Treatment can include myofascial release, soothing massage and trigger point release. Common conditions treated are neck and back pain, sciatica, fibromyalgia, migraines, disc disease, myofascial pain syndrome (muscle spasm and cramps), carpal tunnel syndrome, scoliosis, knock-knees, bowed legs, flat feet, tennis elbow, ankle sprains, TMJ, and other sports or orthopedic injuries.
